So that my husband doesn’t leave me for a younger, more attractive version of myself. And so that one day, I can leave him for a younger, more attractive version of himself.
What do you do for a living?
I am a nurse at NHRMC.
When you are not in the gym, what is your favorite thing to do?
Cuddling the Santa Pups, taking hundreds of pictures of my baby doing the same thing every day, buying things on Amazon with 1-click, telling myself I’m going to start doing Instagram stories and then never actually doing it, dominating my husband at Jeopardy, starting projects around the house and never finishing them
What is your favorite exercise?
Does stretching count? I consider myself to be an above average stretcher.
What is your favorite CrossFit workout?
I’m not going to name a favorite because I don’t want for any of the other workouts to feel left out.
What is your favorite cheat meal?
Probably some combination of pizza, cheese fries, fried pickles, nachos, Bojangles biscuits, oreo blizzards, coconut cake and maybe a hot dog or two (Ball Park beef, not bun sized). Also, beer.
What is your next fitness goal?
I think once I manage to stop hitting myself in the face with wall balls the possibilities are endless.
If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your friends and family assume you had done?
Most likely something having to do with my driving. I once had a passenger tell me that the gas pedal was “not an on/off switch”. I wish I that I could tell you I made that person walk home, but he’s my permanent roommate and he refused to get out of the car.
If someone asked to be your apprentice and learn all that you know, what would you teach them?
How to be a semi-awesome mom – awesome enough that they could watch my baby while I take a nap, but not so awesome that my baby ends up liking them more than me.
