Why do you CrossFit? To improve my health, and have fun while I am doing it. I was never able to have fun going to your standard gym. But CrossFit to me made going to the gym fun. I started shortly after the birth of my first daughter; I wanted to do everything I could to make sure that I would be here for my family, and be able to enjoy the time instead of being miserable and unhealthy.
What do you do for a living? I am a CPA, so certified bean counter that enjoys tax returns (god help me).
When you are not in the gym, what is your favorite thing to do? Ha, I am a video game nerd…… I feel like I shouldn’t admit these things in public.
What is your favorite exercise? Powercleans
What is your favorite CrossFit workout? Filthy Fifty. It was one of the first workouts I ever did at CrossFit (and I think I collapsed one exercise in!!). Every time we do this workout again it reminds me of how much I have improved since I first started.
What is your favorite cheat meal? 30 count nugget tray from Chick-Fil-A with a Cookies & Cream milkshake.
What is your next fitness goal? I am going to say it here so it forces me to learn – doubleunders.
If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your friends and family assume you had done? I had to ask my wife and her initial answer was public urination.
If someone asked to be your apprentice and learn all that you know, what would you teach them? Something really exciting, like accounting.
