Why do you CrossFit? I enjoy the group setting and variety of the workouts, as long as that variety doesn’t include running or burpees. Then it’s a form of torture…

What do you do for a living? I’m a District Sales Manager for a large food distributor. The majority of my workday is time spent in restaurants, in the car, or on the phone. I prefer the restaurants! The occasional food show isn’t a bad perk, either.

When you are not in the gym, what is your favorite thing to do? Hanging out with my kids is the best. With 3 of them there’s never a dull moment. Watching Duke Basketball is high on the list too, and it’s almost that time of year!

What is your favorite exercise? It’s a toss-up between the snatch and the clean. I love and/or hate them equally depending on the day.

What is your favorite CrossFit workout? DT

What is your favorite cheat meal? Pizza or Buffalo Wings. Many of my meals are cheat meals, but I’m working with Drew to change that.

What is your next fitness goal? There’s a few. These are the top; lose 25 pounds, improve endurance, back squat 500 pounds, and finish Diane as Rx(damn handstand PU’s get me every time).

If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your friends and family assume you had done? They’d probably assume I hijacked a food truck. Especially if it were in CA. Street tacos out there are unreal!

If someone asked to be your apprentice and learn all that you know, what would you teach them? Probably to cook, specifically grilling or smoking meats. I have a culinary arts degree and before I was in the distribution industry I was a chef. Cooking is a hobby as opposed to a career now, and I enjoy it much more that way.
