Why do you CrossFit?
I’ve always enjoyed doing some type of physical activity. I’ve tried many gyms and different programs but nothing compared to CrossFit. I love the fact that I don’t have to think about what I’m going to do for a workout. I also enjoy the community that CrossFit has to offer and the friendships that have developed from being apart of this community.
What do you do for a living?
After graduating from UNCW in 2009, I began my career in healthcare working in skilled nursing.
What hobbies do you have other than CrossFit?
Being a mother of 2; 3 year old girl, 6 year old boy, I don’t have any other hobby besides CrossFit and family. My little ones keep me busy and I love it!
Name one thing most people don’t know about you.
I can run a trotline and catch catfish….I married a good ole’ country boy.
What is your favorite CrossFit workout?
I LOVE doing any weight complex. I enjoy working on my technique and lifting heavy.
What is your favorite cheat meal?
Any junk food really- but I do love pizza!
What is your next fitness goal?
I’d love to be able to do a strict pull up…or any pull up
When did you screw up everything, but nobody ever found out it was you?
If I told you, I’d have to kill you….
If you were given a one-minute ad slot during the Super Bowl that you couldn’t sell, what would you fill it with?
Puppies…you can never go wrong with a cute puppy- they make everyone happy.
